I have taken down all my books to have them edited. I am tired of being called a crap writer in readers reviews. I realize now I should of never released any of my books without having them edited first. I love what I do, I love sharing my books with you and I promise, just as soon as they are fixed, I will repost them for sale.
As a community we are not always the nicest to each other. People make rude comments because I spelled a few words wrong. I could make excuses but the truth is writing isn't always easy. Sometimes you are awake for three days because the story needs to come out so bad it hurts and if you don't hire and editor and you said they're instead of their, people can be just cruel.
I apologize to those who feel my work was a let down. I make my entire living off the books I sell. Bad reviews take away from my rent and now my books are not for sale at all. Not until after editing. So keep your eyes open. As I get my edited works back I will repost them on amazon.com in the kindle story for sale once again.
Lots of love,
Ria Goff
P.S. For those of you who felt the need to say horrible things to me. There was no need. My email address was available here on this website. You could have contacted me personally and said your piece without airing it in public.

You may know Leisha Hailey from her Yoplait yogurt commercials or perhaps you caught her as Alice on a little show called The L Word. Some of you may be aware of Ms. Hailey's love for creating, writing and performing music. In the past she has been a member of such bands such as The Murmurs and Gush (the later title of the murmurs) but did you know she was currently in a band with Camila Grey or that their new CD, Common Reaction, has not only gotten a wide and welcome reception but the Cd is good. Really good.

The title Common Reaction is perfect and the reaction to the disc should also be a fairly common positive one. There are very few music compilations that are perfect as a whole. This Cd is fantastic from start to finish. Their lead single Not a love song is catchy, rhythmic and plaguing as I have been unable to get this song out of my head for the last 6 ½ weeks. No really... I am kinda wishing it would stop. Though I cannot pick a clear favorite from the songs I am quite partial to the title track, common reaction and the tiered way Leisha Hailey built this song. Her degree of awe is only upped by the fact that she has chosen the perfect musical partner in Camila Grey. Ms. Grey's voice is complimented greatly by Leisha's and the entire blend of voice, music and persona comes out in such an amazing package that once you have listened to their album or seen them live (I wanted to go and couldn't!) you are sure to be hooked.

The way Leisha Hailey writes the songs is complex and wonderful. She layers in background vocals while she writes the main lyrics (at least this is what I hear anyway) Leaving you astounded by background vocals that are just as good as the main lyrics and leaves you torn between singing along with Camila or tearing off and singing the background with Leisha..if you are anything like me then after you have learned the songs you take turns on the opposite versus so you sing along equally and no ones feelings get hurt. Silly I know but oh so true.

Don't try to pick the album up on the store in their website though, it has been sold out with the I see red EP for the last few weeks. I picked my copies up on Amazon.com however I will most likely go back and buy a second copy from their personal store once they are back in stock. It is always good to have a second copy for the car. Plus I like the idea of supporting the band directly. As a fan you can see my point! I love this entire cd from start to finish and no other band (Other than the three Breaking Benjamin cds – Saturate, We are not alone and Phobia) have kept be coming back in such a manner since the early 90's when I fell hard and fast in love with a band named No Doubt...

If you haven't Uh Huh Her'd (Thanks for that Camila, that girl is brilliant) them yet you should skip on over to Amazon or Itunes and punch their name into the search box. Listen to the samples of each song and then please, please purchase a copy of their albums. You will not be disappointed.
They are good...

Like Sunday in your pajama's during a snow storm with hot chocolate good...

You go Leisha...

Best of Luck to you and Camila..

If this is how they kick off their first cd then I can't wait to hear what they do next.

I will be listening... and this is what I am listening to this week while I am writing my newest book – Woven. Stay tuned for details and please let me know what you think of the cd. I look forward to your feedback.
